We decided to participate in many of Bountiful's Handcart Day festivities this year. On July 23rd we headed over to Main Street for the Handcart Days Parade. Seth had saved us a spot on his way to work...and got one of the last ones.
Here Phin is in his first baseball hat. Now I don't have to smear sunscreen all over his head.
On July 24th our friends Jackie and Curtis met us for the Chuckwagon breakfast at Bountiful City Park. We probably won't make the breakfast a tradition...I got just one pancake a piece of ham and a small scoop of eggs for $4. Seth got two pancakes...but that is because he "lingered" with his plate in front of the server. After breakfast we played bocce ball before the carnival activities opened.
We enjoyed watching Macie and Madison on several of the carnival rides.
After the carnival we headed up to Kaysville and had lunch at World's Best Corn Dogs stand. We each enjoyed a foot long corn dog with ketchup, mustard and honey...seriously why have I never thought to put honey on a corn dog...it was delish. After lunch we caught Iron Man 3 at the dollar theater in Kaysville.
Then we headed to the hospital to meet Phin's newest cousin Eliza. She was born around 4:00 am and weighed less than 7 pounds. She is adorable and so tiny in comparison to Phin.
While we were there Phin's Aunt Tawnya and Uncle Jami also stopped by. It was the first time they had met Phin.
