Return to the Park

After a quick stop for lunch/dinner we returned to Thunder Junction.  My cousin Rachelle just happened to be staying the night in St. George on her way to Disneyland and we made arrangements to meet her cute family at the park.

Rachelle hit the road by 6 am so that our trips would overlap.  We spent over an hour chasing our kids around the park and chatting.

Phin and Griffin saying their goodbyes...until next time.

We headed home after the park...it didn't take long for our worn out kids to fall asleep.  It was such a wonderful little getaway full of fun memories as a family.

Sand Hollow State Park

The next morning we chilled out at our condo until it was time to check out.

Phin had requested to go to "the beach" so we went to Sand Hollow State Park.  We weren't super prepared for this one...I wish we would have brought our swimsuits.

We were able to see a couple of people jump off the cliffs.

Then we found a nice sandy spot for the kids to play.  Phin loved finding what he called "magic rocks" which were clumps of the red sand that he could easily crumble.

I put sunscreen on the kids right before this spot...and Millie's wasn't quite dry before the sand got her.

Seth was a trooper and played in the muddy sand with the kids.

Thunder Junction All Abilities Park

Our next stop was Thunder Junction All Abilities Park.  The kids were seriously in heaven...we had to split up to keep track of them.

Millie LOVED the splash pad.

After the park we picked up some dinner and headed back to our condo to relax.

Snow Canyon

Our next stop was Snow Canyon State Park.  Phin and Millie were happy to be able to play in the sand.

We were prepared this trip and brought some shovels and a bucket.

Sand angels...

After playing in the sand for what felt like forever...we went on a little hike to a slot canyon.
