Millie loved this Dinosaur slide and climbed up it over and over again.
We also decided to ride the train this trip.
Phin has been taking music lessons this Fall so it was fun to get to the musical area of the park.
We stopped for some Chick-Fil-A on the way back to the condo...took naps and then hit the pool. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves.
We had invited Nona, Papa, Grandma Jo and Grandad to join us in St. George. The kids loved playing in the pool with Nona and Papa.

The condo we stayed in was a 3 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath. It had a huge loft area upstairs with a Murphy bed that the kids slept on . They also loved hanging out on this chaise to watch some TV shows.
Thursday night we met my cousin Shelly and her husband Ray at the Pizza Factory for dinner. The kids loved the firetruck outside.
Grandma Jo and Grandad arrived Thursday night. The next morning Phin and Seth showed off their remote control car skills before breakfast.
Grandad and Seth headed off to visit a few work sites on Thursday. We took Grandma Jo, Papa and Nona to the Botanical Gardens. The Gardens had various scarecrow displays from local businesses. We loved this one of Gru with the Minions.
Phin has been doing yoga at school and loved these Avengers showing off their yoga skills.
We also loved the Wizard of Oz crows. They had a little spook alley at the Gardens that totally freaked out Phin and Millie...they cried and cried after...a little to scary for them.
Our next stop was the Children's Museum. Grandma Jo came along and loved watching the kids play.
I think Millie and Phin's favorite area was the airport and airplane. They spent tons of time pulling around a suitcase, checking tickets and putting their baggage through the X-ray machine.
We spent more time at the pool on Friday afternoon. Then we got cleaned up for family pictures. My favorite photographer (Heidi of Monkeyface Photography) lives down in St. George. When I found out we were going down for the trip I was able to get a session booked with her. She took our photos at Tuachan theater. Here is one of my favorites.
After photos we had dinner at a Chinese buffet that Grandma Jo had been dying to eat at. Nona and Papa were adventurous and headed all the way to Mesquite for a buffet at one of the casinos. After dinner, we relaxed at the condo with a few Redbox movies...Hotel Transylvania 3 for the kids and Jurassic World for the grown ups.
Nona and Papa headed back on Saturday morning, so we acted as tour guides for Grandma Jo and Grandad. Our first stop was Snow Canyon. We walked up to the Pioneer Names area. The kids loved climbing up on the red rocks.

After Snow Canyon we went to Santa Clara to see the Jacob Hamblin homestead. This was my first visit and the home was much bigger than I expected.
We spent the afternoon relaxing. Then Grandma Jo helped the kids decorate cupcakes.
Seth's boss had recommended a Peruvian restaurant for dinner. So we picked up some Viva Chicken and brought it back to the condo to enjoy. Sunday morning we visited a local ward that happened to be having their primary program. Then we packed up and headed back home. My only question...why is the drive home always a million times longer than the drive down to St. George?
