Idaho: Chubbuck and Twin Falls

We set out on our Road Trip on Sunday evening.  Sarah and Joe were kind enough to let us stay with them for a night.  Our kids were in heaven.  They played so hard with their cousins.

The next morning we said our goodbyes and attempted to get a picture of all the kids together.  Silas just could not hold still.

Seth and I have been wanting to return to Twin Falls since our 2nd anniversary. Our first stop was at
Perrine Bridge.  Here is a little flashback to our last trip to the bridge...

Then we headed to Centennial Park.  We rented a couple of kayaks and got ready to get on the river.

The life jacket that they issued for Silas was quite snug.  We ended up putting him in one of the puddle jumpers that we brought for the trip...because it gave him room to actually breathe.

We got on the water and it was gorgeous.

We kayaked all the way up to Pillar Falls.

We got out to explore and play in the water at Pillar Falls.

Our next stop was Shoshone Falls.

Here is a little flashback to our 2nd anniversary trip form the same spot.  I think Seth may be wearing the same hat.

Seth's co-worker recommended we visit Dierkes Lake while we were at Shoshone Falls.  We had so much fun at this little lake.

There is a nice sandy beach and then a shallow area that is contained.  Phin loved jumping off the deck into the deeper area.

Our kids loved playing in the sand and somehow found some cups and spoons to build sandcastles with.

We spent the night at Miracle Hot Springs which was about a half hour outside of Twin Falls.

We were the first ones in the Hot Springs pool in the morning.  The water was so perfect.
