We visited Nona and Papa one day. I laughed when the kids crawled under a blanket...in June.
We decided to use our stimulus check towards some items to make our staying at home a little more comfortable. This umbrella was one of our purchases...it is so nice to have shade out on the patio during the day.
Perler beads kept these two busy for a few hours one day.
Silas can often be found watching a show...in his pajamas...with sunglasses.
Phin had a well-check visit after his birthday...what a crazy world.
We finally found a trampoline that was delivered the first week of June. It arrived around lunch time and I spent the afternoon setting it up. The kids loved playing in the trampoline packaging...here they are making Millie a dress.
Finally assembled...I was pretty proud of myself.
The kids also played in the trampoline boxes. They pretended they were coffins and they were vampires.
We have been trying to get out to exercise each morning before it gets too hot. We rode bikes over to a park one morning.
We had the park to ourselves for quite sometime. Phin loved the zipline.
We went fishing for cousin Kira's birthday. We loved this little fishing spot. The kids had never been before and had so much fun.
Phin, Millie and I caught our first fish ever.
We also found a tree swing to play on while our fish were being cleaned.
I was also able to get a picture with Scott and the newest member of our family, baby Theodore.
We had a few days that were cooler than normal and took advantage of the weather on some hikes. On this one we headed up above the Bountiful Temple.
We rode bikes over to another park this day...Phin is becoming a great rider.
Amy, Zoey, Connor and Grace came over one day to jump on the trampoline and play in the sandbox. We had so much fun playing with friends we hadn't seen for ages.
Nona invited us up for her ward's ice cream truck.
They played ice cream truck and came down the street in a pretty decked out car.
They had pictures on the side of the car of the ice cream they had available. This was a huge hit with the kids.
Millie can officially do her own buckles...here is a picture of her first officially independent buckling triumph.
We headed down to the cabin for a few days in June with Nona, Papa, Jeff and Kim and JB and Mary's families.
The boys loved playing monster trucks together.
All of the kids love this oversized chess game. They don't necessarily love to play chess...they love to play with the chess pieces.
Silas also loves to fill this decorative moose up with gravel.
Seth stayed back for work so I was solo on this trip....and this little guy wears me out. He is constantly going at the cabin and it is exhausting to provide all of the supervision he needs.
Maybe next time I should just buckle him into Papa's side-by-side.
We all hiked to Escalante Natural Bridge.
It was a fun flat hike with lots of river crossings.
Millie absolutely adores her cousin Ben. She could follow him around all day. He is so sweet and patient with her.
I have no complaints when this guy decides to take an afternoon nap.
Papa got a load of gravel delivered while we were at the cabin. We spent some time helping to load the gravel into the side-by-side and wheelbarrow so it could be moved down the driveway to assist with drainage.
We also made it to the reservoir...although it was quite windy and smoky from local wildfires.
Silas got a little cold and was more than willing to give me some cuddles.
Silas loved this inflate-a-bull.
The next day we also made a stop at Rex pond so Phin could play on the paddleboard.
I was even brave enough to jump of the little diving board.

When we got home we discovered that our raspberries had started. They have gone crazy this year. Many days I picked over 2 quarts.
I also took the kids to an old school car wash...needless to say they were way less impressed than the
"normal" car wash.
We got a new grill and had a picnic outside while Seth assembled it.
We also explored a new trail...Parrish Creek. It was steep in some spots and narrow but we loved being right along the creek.
When we finished the hike, the kids found a big pile of dirt to play on.
We also hiked part of the Bonneville Shoreline trail.
After the trail we visited the playground...the kids love that his one has a merry-go-round.
We also hiked the Wild Rose Loop.
Silas loved making big wishes on the hike.
We had great views of Bountiful and EagleRidge Golf Course at the top.
Nona and Papa have had a few chairs refinished for the cabin...they now have a little trio in their front room...Silas decided the little one was just right.
We took some homemade Jello play-dough up to Nona's one day and made "cupcakes."
We also biked to a park with a teeter-totter.
We walked down Main Street for some ice cream at our favorite spot.
On Father's Day, Seth got a back rub.
Amy, Zoey, Connor and Grace had us over one day to run through the sprinklers.
We also played in our water table on a warm day.
We hiked Deuel Creek one evening with Seth.
We made it all the way up to the big tree swing...the kids loved it.
We also went for a walk/scooter ride along Bountiful Blvd.
Sarah, Kate, Harvey and Rachel came down for a few days. The kids had so much fun playing together.
They were crazy about playing at the park.

Phin had us take a basketball...next time we need to take two so that we can play lightning.
Cousin Carver came into town and came over one afternoon to play.
This summer is turning out to be one of my very favorites. I was worried how things would go without recreation classes and other fun things...but we have made our own fun and it has been memorable.
