JULY

I love seeing these two cousins together...they are the best of friends.

This is what life looked like the day after our Idaho/Montana trip.  We chilled out for most of the day while I dug out from all the laundry.

Jeff and Kim graciously lent us one of the paddle-boards for the summer.  We wanted to find a good paddle-boarding spot nearby.  We tested out Farmington Pond.  The water isn't meant to be swam in...so we were careful on the paddle-board.

Phin is so patient when it comes to Perler beads.

Cool cousins.

We ventured to the Rec center for the first time in July.  The kids LOVED swimming in the outdoor pool.

Silas is still taking naps everyday.  Most of the time I get him to bed...but some days I don't.

Seth made reservations at Tony's grove for us to go camping.  This was my first time at Tony's grove...and I hope not the last.  It was such a gorgeous camping spot.

Phin was so excited to get out on the paddle-board again.

The kids found lots of sticks to play with at the lake.

Pay particular attention to Millie and Silas in these next two photos...

poor guy is always being teased by one of his siblings.

Seth and I ate yummy tin-foil dinners...our kids ate granola bars.

I also had my first s'more of the season...it was delicious.

The kids found a little tree stump that looked like a pulpit...so naturally they took turns giving speeches.

We also taught Phin how to play Skip-Bo.

The kids were very entertained by their sporks at breakfast.

Millie and Seth walked around the lake in the morning while I watched Phin play in the freezing water...and kept an eye on Silas.  Millie picked me a couple of wildflowers.

These kids sure love making music.

We watched a few episodes of The Floor is Lava on Netflix and Seth decided to set up a little The Grass is Lava game in our backyard.  The kids had so much fun.

I have been trying to get the kids out to exercise in the morning.  Typically I push Millie and Silas in the stroller and Phin either bikes or rides his scooter.  One morning he let me know he wanted to run too.  He did a great job and I look forward to more runs together.

Since the kids will be required to wear face masks at school, we decided to go and pick out some fun fabrics.  We may have gotten a little carried away with all the fun prints for Millie.

We visited Seth one day at work.  The kids always love drawing on his windows with Expo markers.

We also got some water beads for the water table.  These things seriously grow...unfortunately a couple of kids had the idea to push the beads in their ears...I won't name names.

This is how Silas prefers to play with the water table.

Millie loves to play rock/paper/scissors.  I love hearing her voice and Silas' voice as they play together.

This little guy is a serious climber these days.

We haven't been patient enough for it to be dark enough for movies outside with our projector...so we have started to do weekend movies on Silas' bedroom wall.

Silas loved play dress-ups with Carver.

Silas is also a huge fan of Phin's drone.
