In my mind it is still April...not the end of May. Having a newborn seriously alters your sense of time. We had a wonderful Easter. Phin and Millie were very excited to wake up and find Easter baskets. They spent the morning playing with their new toys, blowing bubbles, playing Coconuts and painting in their new watercolor books.
Nona made a beautiful new dress for Millie. Every time that we get Millie dressed on Sunday she runs to Seth to show him what dress she is wearing and says "pretty."
I can't even tell you how many photos like this I find on my iPad. Phin doesn't know the code to unlock the iPad but he can swipe to get to the camera.
We spent a morning hanging out with Aaron and Spencer at Nona's house. These two decided to watch a show under Aaron's blanket.
We also made it to the Jordan River Temple Open House. I knew our three little ones wouldn't make it through the introductory video...so we just skipped to the line to get into the temple. Someone had told Phin about the Oxen in the Baptistry and he was quite disappointed that they weren't real oxen.
We stopped at Schmidt's Pastry Cottage after the Open House for dinner and some special desserts.
Seth and I were given tickets to game 4 of the first round of playoffs by his boss. The tickets were AMAZING. My parents graciously agreed to watch the kids...and Silas slept almost the entire game. The Delta Center...as it will always be to me was loud and the atmosphere was rowdy. It was a fun first date post baby.
I ventured out with all three kids for Red Butte's free day at the end of April. We survived...
We also went to Lagoon for the first time this season for cousin Spencer's birthday party.
We had to snap a picture of our sweet boys in their Captain America shirts.
After Lagoon we came home and blew up a pool for the kids. Millie loved it...Phin was quite disappointing when we didn't fill up the middle pool and turned on the sprayer.
