Lou hit 9 months in July. This little girl is growing up so fast. She is still wearing 12 month clothing and is in size 3 diapers.
At her well-check visit the week after she hit 9 months we found out that she is 29 inches tall (85th percentile) and weighs 19 pounds and 12 ounces (74th percentile).
She started pulling up on things like crazy this month. She can pull up on the side of the bathtub. She also loves to pull up and look at the buckles on her car seat when I take her out.
She still loves her binky. There have been a few occasions where I have forgotten the binky at home...and we have all regretted it.
She loved spending time with Jeff, Kim, Carver and Conrad this summer. I loved how Carver always called her "Baby Lou" and Conrad always insisted on putting her binky in her mouth.
She sat up in the cart at Costco for the first time. She loves being up where she can see what is going on. She is also very good at grabbing my shopping list.
We ran the Bubble Run this month and we decided to strap Lou to Seth's chest rather than push her in the stroller.
She tolerated the bubbles...I am not sure how much she really loved them.
We also celebrated her first fireworks season.
Her hair cracks me up. She had some strands getting quite long so I gave her a little trim just to even things out. Her hair has a way of just sticking up straight...troll like.
She seemed to like the fireworks.
We also went and played at the Mantua Reservoir one day. She seemed to like the sand and playing on the blanket.
She also likes having her toes dipped in the water at the splash pad.
This little one loves kisses on her necks and gives the best little giggles when you kiss her.
Her siblings think she is big enough to participate in all of their activities.
She loves to be outside.
We celebrated with Slurpees on 7-11. Next year she will get her own.
She is starting to lift up off her belly. Here she is in pike position.
She does a great job of scooting backwards but hasn't quite figured out forward movement.
Her feet can often be found straight up in the air. This reminds me so much of Millie at the same age.
She also likes to hold on to a little spot on her car seat by the sunshade.
She went on the Ferris Wheel at Lagoon for the first time this month.
She loves to play with the strings for my hat.
Here she is strapped on to Seth's chest for a visit to the Sunflower Festival.
I also got a few photos of her in the Sunflowers.
When we were at the Days of '47 Float Preview Party, Lou was fascinated with the guy making balloons.
Louisa is an absolute dream come true. We are so grateful this little blonde beauty finally made it to our family. Happy 9 months Lou!
