Pioneer Park

Our second day in St. George we woke up planning to go to Snow Canyon State Park...but found out that a race was being run through the canyon and the park was closed until later in the morning.  So we switched around our plans and headed to Pioneer Park.  Millie fell as she was running but Daddy was able to calm her down.

Phin and Millie loved exploring the red rocks and running around.

We got a great view of St. George and the temple below...this one made me nervous with Phin and Seth very close to the edge.

 

Phin and Millie loved climbing up and exploring all of the little holes in the rock.  Phin found this painted turtle rock in one.

We found a group that was doing 4-wheeling with remote control jeeps.  It was fun to watch...we were here for a while.  Phin had lots of questions for these guys.

We didn't make it all the way up this little slot canyon...maybe next time when I am not pregnant.

Red Rock Getaway

The first weekend in November we headed down to St. George for a much needed vacation.  Seth started a new job at the end of September and his new work has a division down in St. George.  His projects.  While Seth was at the office I took the kids to the Children's Museum.  We LOVE this place.  I think I like it more than Discovery Gateway in Salt Lake.

The last time we visited Millie was less than a week old.  Look at this flashback photo of my little Phin...

This trip I was able to get a photo of Phin and Millie in the same spot.

The grocery store was a favorite spot.  Phin loved being the cashier...and Millie loved shopping.

We seriously need to buy some of these Magniformers...my kids love building with them.

After the museum we picked Seth up we checked out our checked into our condo.  Then we had dinner at a yummy Mexican place at the South end of St. George.  We made a stop at the store for some snacks, breakfast foods and movies.  The kids watched Pinnochio for the first time when we got back to the condo.
