Phin's first week at home was a wonderful adventure. I was lucky enough to have Seth at home with us all week. We learned quite a few things about Phin in his first week. 1- He likes to sleep...a lot. He is related to his dad in this way. 2- He has a dimple in his right cheek. We have just seen it a few times but it is definitely there. 3- He likes to have his hands up by his face. He is quite the escape artist and can wiggle his way out of a swaddle to get his hands up there. I decided to just start swaddling him with his hands up there so that he doesn't have to fight it. 4- He loves to go on walks and loves to soak up a little sun in the process. 5- He has some pretty good arm control and is able to hold his own binkie in. Here are a few pictures from his first week home.
We thought he would be over eight pounds...so most of the clothes we have are 0-3 months. We quickly found that we needed to pull together some newborn clothes so that he wouldn't be drowning in the larger sizes..
Phin loves taking naps with his dad.
A picture from one of our first walks.
Projectile binkie...pretty impressive.
First sponge bath...not impressed...but he smelled so good after.
In this picture he has his middle finger in the middle of the binkie and is holding it in himself.
Amy and Dallin came to visit on Friday night and brought a lovely dinner. They left their little Zoey at home since she has a cold...we hope Phin and Zoey get to meet each other soon.
Phin loves hanging out in the newborn napper on his playpen.
Phin's cousins Ben and Isabelle came to meet him on Friday night.
Matt and Emily were so cute with Phin. He is so lucky to have such loving Aunts and Uncles.

He's a genius already, that Phin! Hey, I sent something out in the mail for you today. Hopefully it will be there at the end of the week. It will help with the NB clothing need :)
