Last weekend we attended the Color Festival in Salt Lake. It was our new activity for May...but didn't quite live up to the hype. When we first arrived people started walking up to Phin and wanting to put color on him. They were really gentle...but you could tell Phin was a little freaked out by these strangers covered in various colors. We bought a five pack of colors and then headed towards the main group. We proceeded to throw colors on each other...Seth gave Phin a face five.
In the background you can see all of the color festival craziness. We decided it would have been more enjoyable to attend the festival with a big group...it might even be fun to divide into teams according to color and play some games.
We were at the festival for one color throwing which meant that everyone threw colors up in the air at the same time. We tried to cover Phin's face with a handkerchief...but he must have gotten some purple color up in his sinus' because he had purple boogies the next day. Our last stop was the hand-print wall for a family picture.
