BYC Pumpkin Patch
Our local Youth Council puts on a Fall Festival/Pumpkin Patch every October. We love going to this one because it is way less crowded than their Easter event. Seth happened to be home early for work so he was able to come with us. We were one of the first families to arrive. Phin started out the night by decorating a pumpkin-shaped sugar cookie.
Then he went fishing...
He was quite pleased with the fishing prize.
Then he painted a pumpkin.
Our next stop was the spook alley...by this time Phin had abandoned his sucker which absolutely delighted Millie.
We ended the night at the face painting station...although someone didn't want their face painted...so we settled on an arm painting.
All of the Youth Council members kept asking Phin what he was going to be for Halloween. Our plan was to have him be Peter Pan...Millie to be Tinkerbell...Me to be Wendy...and Seth to be Captain Hook. Well each time anyone asked Phin proudly said Captain America...I started to feel guilty...so after his arm was painted we headed to the store to buy him a Captain America costume.
