Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Christmas Eve our family tradition of homemade pizza continued.  This year we were totally spoiled with pizza cooked in Jeff's pizza oven.

We had some many delicious pizzas to choose from...BBQ chicken was favorite.

The kids LOVED the pepperoni.

It was so fun to see these cute cousins playing together.

They were excited to open new PJs from Nona and Papa.

After a tub we put them in their new PJs and got a few pictures.

 

 We brought a Christmas Nativity Sticker Book that the kids had fun doing together.

Silas was obviously not a fan of the ELF ears...

Christmas morning was perfect.  The kids slept in and we had so much fun opening presents and stockings.

The kids each had a Hatchimal in their stocking...it took them a little while to figure out how to make them hatch.

Millie's favorite present by far was from Carver, Kim and Jeff...A little Pup Dog Pal and carrying case.

Phin was delighted with his wolf hat...that had LED lights for the eyes.

The kids sat up at the table after breakfast and played and played together.

Carver, Kim and Jeff spoiled Phin with a whole set of Lego mini-figures.  It was a camping theme and came with tons of mini-figures.   Seth was more than willing to help with the assembly.

Silas hit the 9 month mark on Christmas day. 

The kids spent a lot of the morning just playing in the dirt.

Silas managed to get in a nap.

Jeff and Carver got some little foam ball guns so we spent lots of time shooting them in the backyard.

My heart was so full to see my kids playing with Carver.  Millie and Carver are especially fun to watch together.

When the kids started to get a little stir crazy I pulled out my emergency kit...bubbles.

Kim pulled out some sidewalk chalk too.

Phin was so excited when Jeff pulled out Carver's little Audi.  He was completely fascinated and could not wait to take a drive.

This little scene brought back a flood of memories. One Christmas, my little brother Scott received a red convertible car like this.  Sarah and I both got roller-skates that same year.  It was unseasonable warm for Salt Lake so we spent Christmas Day out on the basketball court as Scott drove his car.  We were also quite fascinated with his little car and tried to drive it away too.

  

Jeff treated us to smoked brisket for dinner.

It was a Christmas day that we will always remember.  

We ended the night watching Phin's Incredibles 2 movie.
