We were able to go camping at the end of June. We went up to Camp Zarahemla with our ward and invited Jeff and Carver to come with us. The kids were SO excited.
They couldn't wait to go back to the swing over the river.
Our kind neighbors also shared their lawn darts.
Then we played in the sand volleyball courts.
Seth made yummy dutch oven enchiladas that we shared with a few friends. While the food was cooking, the kids set to work finding sticks.
I love this photo of Carver and Silas in Carver's little camping chair. Silas is also wearing Carver's hand-me-down WILD sweatshirt.
Phin tried to eat his weight in s'mores.
We stopped by the dollar store the day before for some glow sticks...they were a huge hit.
Silas and Millie slept on a queen size air mattress with me, Seth was on a cot and Phin was on a small air matress. The kids slept great.
It was chilly the next morning so we snuggled up in our hoodies.
The kids ran around with friends and explored the area.
Then we went back to play on the swing.
Carver and Millie are the cutest little cousin BFFs.
Silas kept us on our toes. He is go, go, go, from the time he wakes up to the time he is asleep.

That is a seriously beautiful camping spot! So fun to camp with cousins. I think Phin has the right idea - s'mores for the win!
