Back in December I had the brilliant idea to make a Christmas ornament with Phin's hand-print. My plan was to get his hand-print on a piece of transparency and then slip in into a glass ball ornament. Rookie parent mistake...I quickly figured out why they don't do hand-prints at the hospital...this little guy closed his fist up each time I would put paint on his palm and try to set it down on the transparency. What we ended up with looks more like the Vulcan salute from Star Trek but at least we will remember this fun stage in life.
