First Day of School

Phin had his first day of Kindergarten.  He was so excited to be coming to my school. I told him he would have to have a flu shot once he started Kindergarten so in the morning as we were getting ready to go to school he asked if he had to get a flu shot that day.

The first day was really just an orientation day.  I was able to go with Phin and help him as he cut out a little doughnut while his teacher talked to the parents.  We signed him up for an assessment time the following week.  He got a little tour of the school while I filled out some paperwork...and then he got to hang out in my room until the day was over.  He had the next few days off while his teacher worked one on one with students. 

Millie was thrilled when the first day of school came for her the following Monday.
