A Fairy Tale Halloween

Halloween continues to be one of my favorite family holidays.  We started the Halloween season off early in October by decorating a haunted gingerbread...or as Phin says "NINJABREAD" house.

We went to the Davis County Sherrif's office Halloween party again this year.

We also went to a local retirement home with Amy, Zoey and Connor.

A Trunk-Or-Treat at a nearby High School also gave the kids the chance to dress-up.

The night before Halloween we went to a local park to see their Pumpkin contest.  This wolf pumpkin was a favorite.

We broke tradition on Halloween and went to a local shopping center rather than Main Street.

There was a bakery at the shopping center and they gave out yummy sugar cookies.

Before heading out on Halloween night...my kids put up with my photo session.  Millie was Little Red Riding Hood this year.

Phin was The Big Bad Wolf.

I was Grandma.

Seth was the Woodcutter.

Little Red Riding Hood has been Phin and Millie's favorite fairy tale for months so this seemed like the perfect family costume.  Happy Halloween from our Fairy Tale family to yours.

Our kids enjoyed handing sticky hands to neighbors that came to our house...even more than they liked going around to get candy.  We were lucky enough to trick or treat with a few friends this year which made the night quite fun.  Phin even learned how to line his candy up at the end of the night.  This was just what he got around our neighborhood...we have a huge stash from all of the other Halloween events.
